Celette Griffon Series: OEM Approved Frame Machines for Precision Collision Repair

The Celette Griffon series is a family of high-performance frame machines engineered for bodyshops that require speed, power and OEM-level structural accuracy. The lineup includes the Griffon, Griffon VB, and Griffon XL, covering everything from compact passenger vehicles to long-wheelbase vans and light commercial platforms.

Each bench delivers fast setup, strong pulling power, precision anchoring and seamless integration with Celette’s advanced measurement and fixturing ecosystem. Celette is approved by all the leading global OEMs, making the Griffon series a foundation for workshops that follow manufacturer-specified repair procedures.

Designed with durability and ergonomic operation in mind, all Griffon benches are APAVE CE certified, guaranteeing they meet strict EU safety and performance regulations. Together with compatibility for NAJA 3D electronic measuring and the Cameleon universal fixture system, the Griffon family provides a complete structural repair solution.

Griffon (Standard)

The standard Griffon model is a drive-on frame machine featuring a robust runway platform and an integrated secondary lifting system. Its design minimizes setup time-technicians simply drive the vehicle onto the deck, anchor it, and begin measurement or pulling operations immediately.

Key Features of Griffon:
• 2,800 kg lifting capacity, supporting most passenger cars and SUVs.
• Composite runway decking, lightweight yet extremely rigid.
• 10-ton pulling capability, enabling major structural corrections.
• 360° anchoring around the platform for versatile pulling vectors.
• Length: 4370 mm.

The Griffon eliminates the need for a separate hoist to load the vehicle, streamlining workflow and reducing the risk of alignment errors.

Griffon VB (Versatile/Mobile)

The Griffon VB builds on the strengths of the standard Griffon by adding a mobile chassis, transforming any open workshop space into a fully functional structural repair station. It is designed for busy facilities that need to adapt their layout based on workload.

Key Features of Griffon VB:

• Mobile drive-on design with industrial-grade castors for easy movement.
• Inner lifting unit with remote control.
• Deck length approx. 4.37 m (without ramps).
• 2,800 kg lifting capacity, identical to the standard Griffon.

Because the Griffon VB is fully mobile, technicians can reposition the bench for measuring, pulling, finishing, or even paint-prep alignment checks.

Griffon XL (Extra Long)

The Griffon XL is the heavy-duty, extended-length version of the series, designed for long-wheelbase vans, commercial vehicles and large SUVs. With a deck length of roughly 5.8 meters, it allows simultaneous work on front and rear structures.

Key Features of Griffon XL:
• 5.8 m drive-on platform, optimized for LCV collision repair.
• Twin inner lifting systems, allowing separate lifting points for stability.
• Hydraulic tilting (“kneeling”) system for easier loading.
• Load capacities up to 4,200 kg (depending on configuration).
• Full 360° anchoring for complex pull vectors.

For OEM-approved repair networks and commercial fleet workshops, the Griffon XL provides the length and strength required for heavy-duty applications.

Anchoring & Pulling Capabilities

Across the Griffon family, Celette emphasizes strong pulling capability. Many configurations use the Sevenne pulling tower, delivering up to 10 tons of pulling force for demanding corrections.

Anchoring Benefits:
• 360° anchoring for multi-directional pulls.
• High-strength clamps for precise holding.
• Compatibility with Dedicated Jigs and Cameleon.
• Rigid deck design to maintain geometry during corrective pulls.

NAJA 3D Integration

The NAJA 3D system is Celette’s flagship electronic measuring technology. The Griffon series is fully designed to operate seamlessly with NAJA 3D.

Benefits:
• Live 3D measuring during pulling operations.
• OEM-based structural reference points.
• Digital reports supporting insurance documentation.

Using NAJA 3D directly on the Griffon platform eliminates measurement inconsistencies and ensures every pull aligns with OEM requirements.

Cameleon Universal Fixture System

The Cameleon Universal Fixture System gives bodyshops the ability to perform 3D fixture-based repair without purchasing numerous dedicated jig sets. The Griffon, Griffon VB and Griffon XL are fully compatible with this modular system.

Benefits:
• Universal fixturing with ±1 mm accuracy.
• Perfect rigidity during panel replacement or sectioning.
• Integration with Celette WebTools AI.

ADAS, Multi-Material Structures & the Precision Imperative

Modern vehicles are increasingly equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Even slight deviations in structural alignment can cause failures in features such as lane-keeping or automatic braking.

Celette’s Griffon series, when paired with precision measuring technology like NAJA 3D or fixtures like Cameleon, ensures that repair geometry adheres to OEM standards. This preserves the critical reference points required for correct ADAS sensor calibration, making the Griffon series an essential tool for bodyshops handling modern, tech-equipped vehicles.

Why the Griffon Series Stands Out:

• Drive-on efficiency for quick anchoring.
• Mobile flexibility with the Griffon VB.
• Extra-long capability with the Griffon XL.
• 10-ton pulling power.
• APAVE CE certification.
• Approved by all leading global OEMs.
