CELETTE EQUIPMENT VERIFICATION PROGRAM
Maintain Optimal Equipment Performance
In today’s collision repair environment, structural accuracy is more critical than ever. Vehicle geometry directly influences repair quality and can impact the effectiveness of post-repair ADAS calibration.
The Celette Equipment Verification Program helps body shops confirm that their repair and measuring equipment remains compliant, accurate, and fit for purpose throughout its service life.
Verified equipment provides confidence in the repair process, supports quality assurance, and contributes to consistent repair outcomes.

Why Equipment Verification Matters
Repair quality depends not only on technician expertise but also on the accuracy of the equipment being used.
Many customers do not immediately understand why repair equipment must be checked regularly. The reason is simple: if a bench, measuring system, cross member, tower or fixture is no longer within specification, the repair process itself can no longer be fully truster, especially on vehicles where structural accuracy affects downstream ADAS calibration quality. Regular verification helps ensure that these critical tools remain compliant, accurate, and suitable for repairs :
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Periodic verification demonstrates that repair equipment is maintained and controlled according to recognized quality practices.
Confidence in Structural Repairs
Verified equipment helps support dimensional accuracy throughout the repair process and provides confidence in the structural integrity of repaired vehicles.
Reduced Operational Risk
Regular inspections help identify wear, deformation, damaged components, or measurement deviations before they impact repair quality.
What Customers Should Understand
- Verification equipment supports consistent and repeatable repair accuracy
- Controlled measuring and straightening systems help maintain confience in the repair process.
- A documented verification report creates traceability for the workshop and its partners.
- Equipment conformity is an important foundation for reliable post-repair ADAS recalibration.
- Annual verification helps maintain authorization and compliance under CELETTE’s Services framework.
The CELETTE Verification Program
CELETTE recommends a structured annual verification process performed by trained and authorized technicians using dedicated calibration tools and documented control methods.
The program follows a structured verification cycle designed to maintain long-term oversight of installed equipment and ensure continued compliance with CELETTE recommendations.
Step 1: Post-Production Quality Control
Every piece of CELETTE equipment is verified against our production specifications before leaving the facility, ensuring full conformity in geometry and structure.
Step 2: Annual Full Inspection
Once a year, a comprehensive inspection covers the bench structure and the final stack-up configuration.
Step 3: Full Component Protocol (If Issue Detected)
If an anomaly is detected, a complete diagnostic protocol is triggered. Each component is individually inspected to identify the source and restore full compliance before the equipment returns to service.
Document and Certification
Each inspection generates a detailed verification report documenting equipment condition, measurements, observations, and compliance status.
What CELETTE Verifies
Celette verification goes beyond a simple visual inspection. It includes equipment identification (serial number), workshop audit points, component inspection, and dimensional control of measuring environment.
- Bench Environment and Installation: level floor condition, wheel contact, general bench condition, seriul number presence, brake operation, anchoring condition and flatness control of 0.8mm over the frame length.
- Pulling System: general condition, security cable, wheels and pump pressure verification at 700 bar.
- Cross Members and Fixtures: inspection of surfaces, cage nuts, bench fixturing points, and template control.
- Towers and Pistons: inspection of surfaces, fixations, diameters, and flatness.
The scope of verification is adapted to the equipment installed within the workshop.
Supporting Repair Quality
Periodic equipment verification is a practical key requirement for modern collision repair. It helps body shops demonstrate that the equipment used during structural repair remains compliant, documented, and capable of supporting a repair process compatible with post-repair ADAS recalibration requirements.
